Your people are your greatest asset in protecting your business from fire and their education in general fire safety and training in fire safety procedures and equipment is not only required by law, but also essential if they are to be prepared to deal with fire emergency incidents. 

Any member of staff may be the first to discover a fire and they should know how to raise the alarm.  Further, every member of staff should know what to do if an alarm is given and must take some responsibility for working in a safe manner.
